Marriage Prediction Report: What It Covers, Chapter by Chapter
Will a marriage prediction report tell you when, or whom, you will marry? No honest one will. One birth chart can show how tradition reads your 7th house, Venus and Jupiter, and which dasha periods carry partnership themes; it cannot fix a date or name a spouse.

A marriage prediction report is a written reading of one person's birth chart, focused on partnership. In the Parashari tradition that means four things read together: the 7th house and its lord, the planets Venus and Jupiter, your Manglik status, and the Vimshottari dasha periods astrologers traditionally link with marriage. A good report shows you each of these and the rule behind every statement it makes.
The table below draws the line between what such a report can and cannot say. For the astrology itself, the 7th house, Venus, Jupiter and dasha rules, how astrology reads marriage timing in your kundli walks through the method on a sample chart.
What a marriage prediction report can and can't say
It helps to be clear about this before anything else, because the phrase "marriage prediction" promises more than the tradition itself claims.
| A report from your chart can | A report from your chart cannot |
|---|---|
| Describe how classical texts read your 7th house, its lord and the planets aspecting it | Tell you who you will marry, or whether a particular person is "the one" |
| Show where Venus and Jupiter sit and how strong they are traditionally considered | Fix a wedding year, month or date |
| Read your current dasha period for partnership themes, and explain which periods tradition links with marriage | Say whether a relationship will last; that depends on two people, not one chart |
| State whether your chart counts as Manglik, and what that means in matching | Replace a conversation with your family, or legal, medical or financial advice |
Read this way, a marriage horoscope report is a map of themes and periods, not a forecast of events. Marriage depends on people, families, work, health and choice, and a chart controls none of them; a period tradition links with marriage may pass without a wedding. That is why Astroliya's report names periods and the reasoning behind them, never a date. Anyone offering "marriage within so many days" is going beyond anything the classical texts say. For a wider view of which report answers which question, see astrology reports from your birth chart.
What the report reads in your chart
Every statement in the report traces back to four parts of your chart: the 7th house, counted from your lagna (rising sign), and the planet that rules it; Venus and Jupiter, the two planets tradition treats as significators of partnership; your Manglik status; and the Vimshottari dasha period you are running when the report is written. The report applies the Parashari reading of each to your own placements, one chapter per factor. How astrologers read each of these is explained in marriage timing in your kundli.
Inside Astroliya's Marriage report, chapter by chapter
Astroliya's Marriage report is written for one person from their date, time and place of birth. It has five chapters. The printed version currently runs to 22 pages: the written chapters plus four fixed pages (cover, contents, your chart at a glance, and notes).
| Chapter | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| 1. Your 7th house and its lord | How is partnership traditionally read for my lagna, and where does the 7th lord sit? |
| 2. Venus and Jupiter in your chart | What do the two marriage significators show, by sign, house and strength? |
| 3. Periods traditionally linked with marriage and partnership | Which periods does tradition link with marriage, and how is the period I am in now read? |
| 4. Manglik status and how it is read in matching | Is my chart considered Manglik, and what does that mean when charts are compared? |
| 5. Traditional remedies: free practices first, optional ones after | What does tradition suggest, starting with practices that cost nothing? |
The remedies chapter puts free practices first on purpose: mantra, charity and simple routines, with a puja named only as an option. It mentions no gemstones, products or prices. Every remedy in it is traditionally recommended and optional. None of it is a substitute for honest conversation between two people, or for professional help if worry about marriage is affecting your sleep or health.
How the report is made
The report is produced in three steps, and it helps to know which step does what.
- Calculation. Your birth details are turned into a Vedic chart on Astroliya's servers, using sidereal positions with the Lahiri ayanamsa and Vimshottari dashas. Houses, lords, Manglik placement and dasha dates all come from this calculation, not from the AI.
- Writing. Astroliya's AI writes the text one chapter at a time from those calculated placements. It is given chart facts only, never your name or birth details, and is instructed to use interpretive language and promise no outcomes.
- Checking. Each chapter passes automated checks before it is saved. A chapter that promises an outcome, predicts illness or death, gives medical, legal or financial advice, or points to something to buy is rejected and written again.
You choose English or Hindi when you order. The report is usually ready about ten minutes after your payment is confirmed, appears in My reports to read online, and can be downloaded as a PDF. The current price, including GST, is shown on the report page before you pay. No person writes or reviews your copy; it is AI-written from your calculated chart.
Marriage prediction by date of birth: why the time matters too
Many people search for marriage prediction by date of birth alone. The date gives your approximate Moon sign and nakshatra, and from them a rough dasha sequence. Rough, because the Moon moves about 13 degrees a day: its nakshatra can change during the day, and the dasha start dates depend on its exact degree. The bigger gap is the houses. The 7th house is counted from the lagna, and the lagna changes roughly every two hours. Without a birth time, a report cannot know which sign sits on your 7th house, which planet rules it, or whether Mars falls in a Manglik house.
So a date-only reading can sketch your dasha periods but cannot say which of them belong to your 7th lord. If your birth time is approximate, use the closest time you have and treat the house-based chapters with more caution. A free kundli from your birth details shows your lagna and 7th house before you decide whether a full report is worth it.
What one chapter covers: the periods chapter
Chapter 3 is the one most people turn to first, so here is what it does and does not contain.
- What it starts from. The mahadasha and antardasha you are running when the report is written. The chart-at-a-glance page lists both, with the month each ends.
- What it explains. Which planets rule those periods in your chart, whether either is one tradition links with partnership (the 7th lord, Venus, Jupiter, or a planet tied to your 7th house), and how classical practice reads the period you are in for marriage themes.
- What it leaves out. Your full dasha timeline, a wedding year and any promise of an outcome. The free kundli shows the mahadasha sequence and your next antardashas, so you can see for yourself when the marriage-linked periods come round.
The other chapters follow the same pattern: the placement first, then the traditional reading, then the limits of that reading. Chapter 4, for example, states whether your chart counts as Manglik under the house rule and how matching treats it; Manglik dosha explained covers what that status is and what it is not.
Marriage prediction report vs kundli matching
These two answer different questions, and the difference is the number of charts.
| Marriage report | Kundli matching | |
|---|---|---|
| Charts read | One: yours | Two: yours and your prospective partner's |
| Main question | How is partnership read in my chart, and when are its themes active? | How do these two charts compare? |
| What it uses | 7th house and lord, Venus, Jupiter, dasha periods, Manglik status | Ashtakoota: 36 points across 8 kootas, plus both partners' Manglik status |
| Where on Astroliya | The Marriage report | Free kundli matching |
The report's web address says "compatibility", but it reads one chart; a partner's chart cannot be added to it. If you already have someone in mind, the free matching tool scores both charts, and Guna Milan explained shows how the 36 points are counted. Many families use both: the report to understand one chart in depth, and matching to compare two.
Questions people ask
Can a marriage prediction report tell me when I will get married?
It can tell you which dasha periods tradition links with marriage in your chart, and how the period you are in now is read. It cannot name a year or a date, and no honest report will. Treat those periods as times when partnership themes are read as active, not as appointments; the free kundli's dasha timeline shows when they fall.
I am Manglik. What will the report say?
Chapter 4 states whether your chart counts as Manglik, which house Mars occupies, and how that is read when two charts are matched. Being Manglik does not mean marriage is blocked or will fail, and many placements are traditionally said to cancel it. When there is a specific partner, matching both charts matters more than one chart's status.
Can my partner's chart be added to the report?
No. The Marriage report is written for one person's birth details. To compare two charts, use the free kundli matching tool, which scores the Ashtakoota points and shows both partners' Manglik status.
Is the report written by a person?
No. Your chart is calculated from your birth details, Astroliya's AI writes the text from those placements, and automated checks reject any chapter that promises an outcome or gives medical, legal or financial advice. If you have follow-up questions, you can ask Astroliya's AI astrologer in Hindi or English.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps a great deal. The 7th house, its lord and Manglik status all depend on the lagna, which needs the birth time and place. With only a date, the dasha periods are approximate and the house-based chapters lose most of their footing.
