Astrology Reports From Your Birth Chart: Which One Answers Your Question

Astroliya's seven reports run from 14 pages to 48, and length is the wrong way to choose: each is written around one question, from "Am I Manglik?" to "What does 2027 hold for me?". Some questions, such as which dasha you are running, need no report at all, because the free kundli answers them.

An astrology report is a long reading of one birth chart, written around one theme. The useful question is not "which astrology report is best?" but "which one answers what I am asking?" Someone weighing a job change needs a different reading from someone whose family has started talking about kundli matching, and both need something different from a person who has just been told Sade Sati is starting.

Astroliya offers seven reports. Each is calculated from your own date, time and place of birth, read in the Vedic (sidereal) way, and written chapter by chapter. What separates them is which part of the chart they spend their pages on, so the table below starts from the question rather than the product name.

Which astrology report answers your question?

Start from the question, not the product. Find the row closest to what is on your mind:

Your questionThe report that reads itWhat it looks at in your chartLength
"Tell me about my whole chart"Complete LifeLagna, all planets by house and sign, all twelve houses, yogas, dasha timeline48 pages
"What does 2027 hold for me?"Yearly Forecast 2027Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu through 2027, month by month, beside your dasha periods32 pages
"When and how might marriage come?"Marriage & Relationship7th house and its lord, Venus and Jupiter, periods linked with partnership, Manglik status22 pages
"Is this a time to change jobs or to stay?"Career & Job10th house, current dasha and its career themes, Saturn and Jupiter over your career houses20 pages
"What does my chart say about earning and saving?"Wealth & Money2nd house of savings, 11th house of gains, Jupiter and Venus, dasha periods linked with earning20 pages

"Am I Manglik, and does it matter for matching?"Mangal Dosha ReportMars by house and sign, traditional cancellation rules, how it is read in matching14 pages

Every report ends with the same kind of chapter: traditional remedies, with free practices first and optional ones after. None of them asks you to buy a stone or a bead to make the reading work.

The seven reports, and what sets each apart

Complete Life: the broad reading

This is the one to choose if you have never had your chart read and want the whole picture once. It walks through your lagna and personality, the planets by house and sign, all twelve houses one by one, career and wealth, relationships and family, the yogas traditionally read in your chart, and your dasha timeline. It is wide rather than deep: each area gets its chapter, but the themed reports below go further into one subject.

Yearly Forecast 2027: the year, month by month

The yearly report gives the year at a glance, then three chapters of month-by-month themes, a chapter on the major transits of Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu, and one on your dasha periods through the year. 2027 has a big one: Saturn's first move into Aries comes in June. A sign-level horoscope reads that from your Moon sign only; this report reads the year against your own lagna, Moon and running dasha. Our article on the yearly horoscope report 2027 explains, with a worked example, why two people with the same rashi get two different years.

Marriage & Relationship: one chart, read for partnership

This report reads your chart alone: the 7th house and its lord, Venus and Jupiter, the periods traditionally linked with marriage, and your Manglik status. It does not compare you with a partner. If you already have a match in mind, the two-chart question is answered by the matching tool, and our marriage prediction report guide goes into how the 7th house, Venus and dasha are read.

Career & Job: work themes in your current period

The career report starts from your 10th house and what it traditionally signifies, then spends most of its pages on timing: your current dasha and its career themes, periods traditionally seen as good for change and for consolidation, and Saturn and Jupiter crossing your career houses. Choose it when the question is "when", not "what kind of person am I at work".

Wealth & Money: earning and saving patterns

This reads the 2nd house (savings and family wealth), the 11th house (gains), Jupiter and Venus, and dasha periods linked with earning. It describes patterns and periods in the traditional sense. It is not financial advice, does not tip investments, and should never be the reason you put money into anything.

Sade Sati: one transit, read closely

The Sade Sati report answers a narrow question well: where you are in Saturn's seven-and-a-half-year transit over your Moon, with the phase timeline, the career and family themes of each phase, and how it overlaps with your dasha. The overlap is what a sign-level page cannot tell you. Our Sade Sati report article explains why the same phase reads differently in two charts.

Mangal Dosha: Manglik status, with the reasons

This is the shortest report. It says whether your chart is considered Manglik and why, explains Mars by house and sign in plain words, lists the traditional cancellation rules that may apply, and shows how it is read in matching. If you only want a yes or no first, the steps in am I Manglik? let you check your own kundli.

How a personalised astrology report is made

We say this plainly because most report pages do not. A personalised astrology report on Astroliya is built in three stages, in a fixed order:

  1. Calculated from your chart. Your birth details produce a sidereal chart using the Lahiri ayanamsa: planet positions, houses, nakshatras and your Vimshottari dasha. Fixed classical rules then produce dated findings, such as Sade Sati or a Manglik placement. This is arithmetic, done before any text exists.
  2. Written with AI. Astroliya's AI drafts each chapter from those chart facts: your lagna, Moon sign, nakshatra, each planet's sign and house, your current dasha and antardasha, and the findings. Its instructions are to use the tradition's framed language and never promise outcomes. Your name, birth date, time and place are not sent to the model.
  3. Checked automatically. Every chapter passes an answer checker before it is saved. A chapter that promises an outcome, predicts death or illness, gives medical, legal or financial advice, or tries to sell something is rejected and written again.

No person writes or re-reads your report, and nothing on the site pretends otherwise. The checks keep the language honest; they do not prove the interpretation right. The AI is a language model, so a sentence can still be worded badly or lean too hard on one placement, which is why the chart facts it worked from are on your free kundli to compare. If you want the longer explanation of what the AI reads and where it stops, see how AI astrology works.

What this means in practice: the chart facts in a report are as reliable as your birth details. The interpretation is one reading within the Parashari tradition, and another tradition or another astrologer might weigh the same placement differently.

Kundli report PDF: what you receive

People often search for a "kundli report pdf" expecting one of two things: a free printout of the birth chart, or a written reading. Astroliya keeps those apart.

  • The chart itself lives on the free kundli page once you sign in: your North Indian chart, all nine planets with sign, degree and nakshatra, your dasha, dated findings, dosha checks and this month's transits.
  • A written report is a chapter-by-chapter reading you can read on the site or keep as a PDF. Reports you buy stay in your account, ready to open again.
  • Language. Reports are offered in English or Hindi.

The page count in the table above is the length of the finished report. A longer report covers more ground; it does not make any single answer more certain.

When the free kundli or an AI chat is enough

A report is the right tool when you want a long, organised reading to come back to. Often you do not. Use these steps before deciding:

  1. Make your free kundli first. If your question is factual, which sign my Moon is in, which dasha I am running, whether the chart shows Sade Sati or a Manglik placement, the kundli answers it directly, with no report needed.
  2. If you have one specific question, ask it. "Is my current period good for a move?" is a chat-sized question. An AI astrologer in chat reads your saved chart and shows the findings it relied on. You can meet the personas on our AI astrologers page.
  3. If two people are involved, use matching. Compatibility between two charts is the matching tool's job, not a single-chart report's.
  4. Choose a report when the question is broad or long-running. A whole year, a whole life overview, or a long transit like Sade Sati benefits from chapters you can reread.

What a report does not mean

A report reads tendencies and periods as the tradition describes them. It is not a schedule of events, and a difficult placement is not a sentence. A Manglik chart is not a bar to a good marriage, Sade Sati is not a promise of loss, and a quiet 2nd house does not mean you will be poor. The reports say what tradition reads and also what it does not mean.

Remedies in every report are traditionally recommended practices, offered as optional, free ones first. They are never a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. If a decision is serious, treat the report as one input and speak to a qualified professional for the rest.

One more honest note: if your birth time is unknown or rough, the house-based chapters (lagna, 7th, 10th, 2nd and 11th houses) are the least reliable parts. Read our guide to a kundli without birth time before buying a report that leans on houses.

Questions people ask

Which astrology report should I buy first?

Buy the one that matches your question, using the table above. If you have no single question and have never had your chart read, the Complete Life report gives the widest view. If your question is narrow, a themed report or a chat on your chart is usually the better fit.

Is a Vedic astrology report different from a Western one?

Yes. A Vedic astrology report uses the sidereal zodiac (Astroliya uses the Lahiri ayanamsa), so planets often sit about one sign earlier than in Western astrology. It also reads timing through the Vimshottari dasha, which Western astrology does not use.

Is the report written by a person?

No. The chart is calculated, Astroliya's AI writes the text from your chart facts, and an automated checker rejects any chapter that promises outcomes or gives professional advice. The astrologers on Astroliya are AI and are labelled as AI everywhere on the site.

Can I get my kundli report as a PDF?

A report you buy can be read on the site or kept as a PDF, and it stays in your account. Your birth chart itself is on the free kundli page after you sign in.

Do I need an exact birth time?

It matters most for the reports that read houses: Complete Life, Marriage, Career and Wealth. The lagna changes roughly every two hours, so a wrong time can move planets into different houses. Moon-based readings such as Sade Sati depend less on the exact time, though the Moon can still change sign within a day.
