Taurus Horoscope 2027: Vrishabha Rashi's Year, Transit by Transit

Vrishabha's 2027 turns on one window: from 3 June to 20 October Saturn sits in Aries, your 12th, for a first brush with Sade Sati, then backs into your 11th for the winter. Jupiter reaches your 5th, a house tradition counts as supportive for it, only on 26 November.

For a Taurus Moon, 2027 has two turning points four and a half months apart. On 3 June Saturn enters Aries, the sign just behind Vrishabha, and by the traditional rule Sade Sati begins; on 20 October Saturn slips back into Pisces and the Sade Sati pauses until 23 February 2028. This Taurus horoscope 2027 sets those dates beside Jupiter's moves through your 3rd and 4th houses and into the 5th in late November, and the Rahu-Ketu pair across your 9th and 3rd. Every house here is counted from the Moon sign (rashi), which often differs from the Sun sign of Western columns (someone born in early May can have the Moon in any of the 12 signs), so confirm in your free kundli that the Moon sits in Vrishabha, or find your own sign in Horoscope 2027 for all 12 rashis.

For each placement, the sections below give what the Parashari tradition reads in that house for work, money, relationships and daily habits. Treat Vrishabha rashi 2027 as a calendar of themes, not a forecast of events.

Taurus horoscope 2027 at a glance: the dated table

Dates are as published by PanchangBodh's Grah Gochar 2027 (sidereal signs, Lahiri ayanamsa, Indian Standard Time). Houses are counted whole-sign from a Taurus Moon, the method classical gochara (transit) texts use. No times are given, because they depend on your city and the ayanamsa a panchang uses.

Saturn in 2027 for Vrishabha: the 11th, the 12th, then the 11th again

From January to early June, Saturn sits in Pisces, the 11th house from a Taurus Moon. Classical gochara texts count the 3rd, 6th and 11th as Saturn's favourable houses, and the 11th is the one most often linked to steady income, the return on earlier work, and the support of friends, colleagues and elder siblings.

On 3 June, Saturn enters Aries, your 12th house. The 12th is read as the house of expenses, sleep, foreign places, hospitals, charity and withdrawal. Saturn entering the 12th from the Moon is the first of the three phases of Sade Sati, the seven-and-a-half-year period explained in What Is Sade Sati?.

What makes 2027 unusual is that this first phase does not hold. Saturn turns retrograde on 9 August, and because it has gone only a few degrees into Aries, the backward motion carries it into Pisces again on 20 October. For a Taurus Moon that means:

  1. 3 June to 20 October 2027: Sade Sati phase 1, about four and a half months.
  2. 20 October 2027 to 23 February 2028: out again, Saturn back in your 11th.
  3. From 23 February 2028: phase 1 resumes, and the longer run begins.

Astrologers traditionally read a short first pass like this as a preview: the themes of the 12th house show up, then step aside, then return in earnest. It is not a reason to cancel plans in June or rush them before October. The Sade Sati 2027 page compares this with Aquarius, the sign whose Sade Sati ends and restarts on the same dates.

Jupiter in 2027: your 3rd, 4th and 5th houses

Jupiter (Guru) begins the year retrograde in Leo, your 4th house, moves back into Cancer, your 3rd, on 25 January, turns direct there in mid-April, returns to Leo on 26 June, and enters Virgo, your 5th, on 26 November.

Classical gochara counts Jupiter favourable from the Moon in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th houses, so for most of 2027 it sits in houses the texts treat as neutral rather than supportive:

  • 3rd house (25 January to 26 June): tradition links it to effort, short travel, writing, speaking and siblings. Jupiter here is often described as asking you to do the work yourself rather than wait for help.
  • 4th house (to 25 January and 26 June to 26 November): home, mother, property, vehicles and peace of mind.
  • 5th house (from 26 November): learning, children, creativity and romance. This is the move Taurus Moon signs have traditionally been told to look forward to, and it carries into 2028.

Rahu in the 9th, Ketu in the 3rd, and the two solar eclipses

Rahu has been in Capricorn and Ketu in Cancer since 5 December 2026, and both stay there through 2027 (see Rahu-Ketu transit 2026 to 2028). From Vrishabha, that puts Rahu in the 9th, the house of beliefs, teachers, the father and long journeys, and Ketu in the 3rd. Tradition counts the 3rd, 6th and 11th as better placings for the nodes, so Ketu in the 3rd is usually read kindly, as a quiet courage; Rahu in the 9th is described as questioning inherited beliefs or seeking unusual teachers.

Both solar eclipses of 2027 fall on that axis: 6 February in Capricorn (your 9th) and 2 August in Cancer (your 3rd). The August one is seen from most of India as a partial eclipse; our sources do not say whether the February one is visible from India, so check your panchang. Dates and visibility for each are in Eclipses 2027.

Taurus 2027 predictions by area, as tradition reads them

This table translates the houses above into the areas people ask about. It describes what astrologers traditionally associate with each placement; it is not a forecast of what will happen to you.

AreaJanuary to early JuneJune to October (Sade Sati preview)Late October to December
Work11th-house Saturn: steady returns on earlier effort; Jupiter in the 3rd asks for initiativeSaturn in the 12th: behind-the-scenes work, work abroad or at a distanceSaturn back in the 11th; Jupiter in the 5th from 26 November favours study and new skills
MoneyGains read as slow but real12th house: expenses traditionally rise; a time for budgets, not big betsIncome themes return
RelationshipsSiblings and colleagues prominent (3rd, 11th)Need for quiet and time aloneRomance and children highlighted once Jupiter reaches Virgo
Health habitsEffort and routine (3rd)12th house: sleep and rest routinesHome life and rest

Worked example (an illustration, not a real person): take someone with the Moon in Taurus and a Leo lagna. From the Moon, Saturn in Aries is the 12th, the Sade Sati house. From the lagna, Aries is the 9th, a house of dharma and long journeys. An astrologer would read the two together, and then check the dasha running in 2027 before saying anything about timing. That is why two Taurus Moon signs can have quite different years.

What 2027 does and doesn't mean for Vrishabha

  • It does mean the first taste of Sade Sati arrives on 3 June and pauses on 20 October, with the longer phase from 23 February 2028.
  • It does not mean the year is bad. Sade Sati is read through your whole chart, and classical texts describe softening factors such as a strong Saturn or a well-placed Moon in the birth chart.
  • It does not mean you need a remedy. Practices such as Saturday charity or a Shani mantra are traditionally recommended and entirely optional.
  • It does mean Jupiter's more supportive house, the 5th, comes only at the end of the year.

Some readers like a small daily reminder of their sign. The Taurus zodiac bracelet pairs lepidolite, traditionally associated with calm, and carnelian, associated with motivation. It is a sign piece, not a Sade Sati remedy.

Questions people ask

Is Sade Sati starting for Taurus in 2027?

Yes, for Taurus Moon signs, by the traditional rule that Sade Sati starts when Saturn enters the 12th sign from the Moon. It begins on 3 June 2027, when Saturn enters Aries, your 12th house. It pauses on 20 October when Saturn moves back to Pisces and resumes on 23 February 2028.

Which part of 2027 does tradition read most kindly for Taurus?

The last five weeks. From 26 November to the end of the year, Saturn is back in Pisces, your 11th, one of its favourable houses, and Jupiter is in Virgo, your 5th, one of its favourable houses: the only stretch of 2027 when both planets sit in houses classical gochara counts as supportive from a Taurus Moon. January to early June has Saturn in the 11th but Jupiter in the neutral 3rd and 4th. Your own dasha still decides how any of it is felt.

When does Jupiter favour Vrishabha rashi in 2027?

Classical gochara counts the 5th house from the Moon as supportive for Jupiter, and Jupiter enters Virgo, your 5th, on 26 November 2027. Before that it moves between your 3rd and 4th houses.

Does this apply if Taurus is my Sun sign?

Not directly. Vedic yearly readings count houses from the Moon sign, so check your rashi in a kundli first. If your Moon is in another sign, read that sign's row in the 12-rashi overview instead.
